The material
Capim Dourado is a natural and extremely rare raw material that grows exclusively in a small region in the interior of Brazil. The so-called Golden Grass is subject to strict protection regulations and is harvested sustainably.
The warm, golden shine is completely natural and makes each piece of jewelry unique. From this special material, we create our Capim Dourado jewelry, which is meticulously handcrafted – each piece a true one-of-a-kind.
TRANSPARENT ORIGIN
SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION
Sustainability and transparency are integral parts of our work. It is particularly important to us to know where our materials come from and how they are processed.
That's why we are on-site in Brazil at least once a year to plan new collections, select materials, and engage directly with the people behind the craftsmanship. Direct contact with the artisans is indispensable for us.
Only through this personal exchange can we ensure fair conditions, high quality, and the authenticity of our products.
PROCESSING
HIGH-QUALITY MATERIALS
Our jewelry pieces are made of a high-quality, nickel-free metal alloy and are plated with real 18k gold, making them particularly skin-friendly. The designs are complemented by gemstones and, in selected models, by palm silk.
Capim Dourado is vegan, durable, and sustainable. Nevertheless, we recommend careful handling of the jewelry to preserve its natural beauty for a long time.

my journey with Capim Dourado
I'm Julia, founder of the jewelry label Capido. Born in Curitiba, Brazil, I have been living in Germany since 2016. Early on, I developed a passion for jewelry and craftsmanship – inspired by my grandfather, who worked as a goldsmith.
With Capido, I have created a passion project dedicated to the beauty of Capim Dourado jewelry. Our goal is to bring this extraordinary natural material from Brazil to Europe in handmade, sustainable jewelry pieces, combining tradition, design, and quality.
Capido is based in Oldenburg (Germany) and combines Brazilian craftsmanship with modern, timeless design.
